Exhibition for the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis, running at Poppi Castle until 4 October. It brings together the Assisi codices held in Poppi’s Biblioteca Rilliana alongside paintings and objects that trace how Franciscan iconography developed. The trail continues outside the castle at the Cappuccini convent of Ponte a Poppi and at Camaldoli.
