Village guide Casentino, Arezzo, Italy
Subbiano
The door to the valley
Subbiano straddles the Arno at the mouth of the Casentino, the last flat place before the valley closes in. It is a working comune with a surprising amount going on, and if you are driving up from Arezzo it is the first Casentino town you meet.
